Andrea Tagnon Architecture: ‘The aim of this project is to make a new architecture without changing anything of the existing one. We covered the space spreading a thin material everywhere, giving a new texture: so to leave everything as it is, but in the meantime to change totally the perception and the identity of the space itself, in an idea of transition. We worked with semi-finished materials, using them in an in-between stage: foam without a real covering, unpainted and uncovered flocage. On top touches of stones, fur, brass, electric colored aluminum, laying in the space, as texting a palette in a mock up. A strong yellow light, like in a construction site’s digging gallery, will link visually the three floors, to suggest that something inside Max Mara is happening.’
