Currently based in New Zealand, Alexandra Dodds has combined her passion for sculpture and jewellery, creating an unique line of woman accesories. She has refined her craftsmanship by attending various skill based workshops overseas, including an intensive casting course in Berlin taught by contemporary jeweller Rolf Linder.
Her current collections use an experimental and contemporary approach to traditional lost wax casting and granulation techniques to create the rich and complex forms which have become her signature style.
Alexandra encourages her pieces to be worn en masse, continuing the sculpting practice onto the hands of the wearer.
